KONGKOW is an editorial newspaper zine that invites you to reflect on the cultural dilemma Chinese-Indonesians battle with to get in touch with their cultural roots that have faded over time. In Chinese-Betawi culture, the phrase "kongkow" refers to an act of gathering and chatting about the past. Through stories from various generations of Chinese-Indonesians, “Kongkow” aims to spark discussions about identity crisis and visibility. Engage yourself in discourse about history, traditions, language, and design through interviews and artworks by Chinese-Indonesians.

PM:AM Grad ShowBranding, Event Identity 2024
PM:AM is the title of the 2024 graduation showcase for RMIT-SIM’s Bachelor of Design in Communication Design. The name alludes to the excitement that kicks in at night, from PM to AM. It is during these hours that our minds light up with sudden bursts of colourful creativity and ideas, where vision come to life from dusk to dawn. 

PM:AM positions itself as the embodiment of the radiant glow emanating from our screens at night — to immerse in an electrifying experience that transcends the boundaries of time. As the day transitions into night, 
our showcase becomes a portal to a world illuminated by the captivating allure of technology. 

I led my team as Branding Lead to create the brand identity, including the logo, color scheme, typography, and application guide. Additionally, I assisted in supervising the consistency of the brand identity throughout all print and digital collaterals.

IJOIJOBranding 2023
IJOIJO is a vegan restaurant that highlights tempe as an alternative plant-based protein. Coming from the term "hijau," which means "green" in Indonesian, IJOIJO aims to serve Gen-Zs a sustainable dining experience through the use of responsibly-sourced materials and biodegradable packaging. IJOIJO is breaking the stereotype that vegan food is bland and boring. With the casual dining concept, IJOIJO aims to make vegan food trendy and accessible to all.

Google Translate: UncutCampaign 2023
This campaign was submitted as an entry for the D&AD New Blood Competition in 2023, where we were assigned to create a typographically-led campaign with Google Fonts & HMCT to raise an awareness for a social issue. 

In a world where censorship is on the rise and media restrictions tighten their grip on Southeast Asia, it's essential to find alternative methods that can empower people with the unfiltered truth. 

That's why we created Uncut – a revolutionary platform that breaks down language barriers and allows numerous alternative perspectives to be disseminated. With this tool, local and foreign news can be translated into alternative uncensored content in any desired language. Language should not be a barrier to knowledge and understanding, but a tool to broaden perspectives and bridge cultures. Join us in our mission fight censorship and media control.

jOURneyPrint and Packaging2023
jOURney is a physical mixtape born out of my love language of creating playlists and packaging. The title is stylized to highlight the word “our” from “journey,” signifying the different human experiences that influenced the choice of songs and images. According to the listener’s personal experiences, their interpretations of the mixtape may vary. This journey is ours to take and ours to create as well. 

LamentationsPublication, Photography 2022
Lamentations is a photo essay zine that talks about my personal journey of loss, grief, and acceptance. This zine is for those who curse and yell at the sky because they were reaped of their loved ones.
